Tara Christie-Martin began her health career as a registered nurse in 1994. Over her 20-year career she has worked in critical care, mental health, women health, and oncology. In 2020 Tara became a certified Adult, Gerontology provider. She has specialized in the area of internal medicine in post-acute facilities and also worked as provider in refugee health in the United States . Her clinical interest includes chronic illness management, and wellness, based care.
Tara believes that obtaining optimal health is a collaborative journey between the provider and patient . “Teaching patients how to manage their health conditions is the greatest tool we have as healthcare providers”. Tara is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
